Daikin UK has launched an innovative new Auto-Cleaning Duct accessory for its VRV and Split air conditioning units that keep internal duct filters dust-free and clean
Available from June 2017, the smart cleaning solution will offer lower maintenance and running costs, while providing a 20 per cent energy saving.
Designed specifically for hotels, offices and residential applications, the automated cleaning accessory will prevent dust formation within indoor ducted units by keeping the filter consistently clean thanks to an automated filter cleaning system.
Collecting debris in a dust box that can be simply emptied using a standard vacuum cleaner, the Auto-Cleaning Duct accessory ensures easy maintenance access and minimal disruption on site.
Significantly reducing system failure likelihood as a result of clogged filters with improved efficiency and enhanced system operation, the innovative solution also assures filters do not need to be manually cleaned.
